  A B O U T
Reginald, or “Reggie,” as he is loath to be called, is a chef. He is persnickety and particular, both about his cooking and his life in general. His spice rack is perfectly organized, and his kitchen always in working order. Other dragons swear that he schedules every minute of his life from dawn until dusk.

He displays a high degree of creativity in his cooking, seldom following recipes. He’s constantly tasting his dishes as he cooks and adding meticulously measured dashes of this or that until he deems it perfect.

He flaunts a posh accent that only breaks if he gets exceptionally frustrated. He enjoys using excessively long and poetic descriptions for the simplest of his dishes, though most dragons forgive his rather entitled mannerisms for a taste of his food. No dragon can argue that his cooking is incredible.

His baking, however, leaves something to be desired. His preferred level of spontaneity isn't conducive to the delicate process that is breadmaking. Thankfully, he has since hired Hortense, who is passionate about baked goods and has the skill to make them. He doesn't love sharing his kitchen, but he may admit that he is thankful for their help when there are so many mouths to feed.

The only other dragon he regularly comes into contact with is Bug, the clan's alchemist. Despite the two's frequent bickering and swapped barbs whenever they're in the same room, Reginald seems to genuinely look forward to their company. Even if they have bestowed him with a nickname he vocally despises.

  H I S T O R Y
Reginald was born a relative nobody in the Windswept Plateau, and from childhood, he has longed for fame. However, where other wind dragons may aspire to be exceptional singers or dancers, Reginald dreams of one day becoming a world-acclaimed chef. As a hatchling, he would tear up flowers and stalks of bamboo to assess their flavor and combine them into pretend soups.

He moved to the Dragonhome at a relatively young age to discover new ingredients and hone his craft. The large, cool caverns also help to preserve the more perishable food items. He still carries big dreams, but for now he stays with his clan and has to make do with the praise of “common” clan dragons.

He does try to help in other ways when it strikes him. He dabbles in alchemy from time to time, using his encyclopedic knowledge of cooking times and temperatures to create simple transmutations. He’s quick to assure his clanmates that he thoroughly marks his cauldrons, so there’s no reason to worry. Probably.
