After being sheltered for most of his life, Jacques wanted to go out and see the world. He planned to return one day with stories to tell.

Jacques found another Ridgeback named Cornelia. He was intrigued by her voice, and soon became her mate. As attractive as Jacques thought Cornelia was, she was part of a breeding project called Project Ugly. The two dragons had three kids, and Cornelia being the celebrity she was, left Alligator Clan to go on tour. Since then, Jacques has only been able to see her in concert, but wonders if she remembers him.

Jacques finally felt homesick, and decided to finally go back home to tell his stories. Nowadays, Jacques helps run the Travellers' Lodge.
