Uh-oh, looks like this fierce Ridgeback wandered a little too far from her home lair (grxndsxn, 437722), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here, or to the hub if you don't want another dragon in return. Please refrain from exalting her!

Antares's mother, father, and grandmother are (or were, in her father's case) all travelling dragons - and she felt she might as well join in on it. She decided to go to the lair where her father and grandfather currently resided in. Her grandfather was happy to meet her, and her father (known as Jacques) was glad to see her again, even if it was only for a little while.

Antares decided to leave the next day, asking Jacques if he wanted to come with. Jacques politely declined, as he thought he was done with travelling. However, Antares planned to send letters to Jacques every now and then, and maybe even return to visit occasionally. As Jacques said goodbye to his daughter, he sent her off with a bag of supplies.

The young ridgeback hadn't traveled very far... she was still in the contagion. That was until she was abruptly knocked out. Turned out a mafia wanted to force her into joining them...
whoops.
When she refused, their leader, Private tried squeezing any info he could get out of her. But everything she knew was useless. Eventually, they mailed her off, literally, in a cardboard box. (a tradition of theirs)

After that traumatizing experience she was met with another travelling dragon, Murdoch, she stayed with him for a while as they wandered through the scarred wasteland she called home.

They ended up finding many treasures on their journey; a helmet made entirely out of gold, a beautiful robe, and some gold boots.
