Kezith was born from the same nest as Kishan, though with faded scales and pale grey runes on his body compared to the vibrancy of his twin. He was sickly from the time he left his egg, easily injured and photosensitive, he lacks energy, stamina, and strength. He is known to wheeze at night as if he is struggling just to breathe as he rests. He keeps a cover over his eyes when he ventures out of the cave he shares with his brother to help with the light. One would think that with such limited physical abilities, he would be a great mage, however he is almost as helpless in the arcane ways as well. Though he can cast magic, it is at great personal cost, and drains him endlessly when he does so.

Instead of practicing the way of mage or warrior, he finds himself endlessly studying. There is not a book in Clan Quills that he hasn't read through at least once, and he is an endless source of knowledge at this point. The researchers of the Amethyst Spire tend to rely on him to find details they have forgotten or cannot locate, though when he does so, he tends to screw up his eyes in a peculiar fashion as he recalls the information. This phenomenon has lead to the researchers dubbing the action "googly-ing" due to the googly eyes he makes as he recollects.
