Dawn seeps in through the shutters, blanketing the room and everyone in it in strips of gentle warmth--the desk, the bed, Leonidas himself, cast in a pale orange glow. A moment of peace. Something he doesn't get much anymore. Originally having simply wanted to settle down and start a family, Leonidas found that after a few years building his life in the windy Tranquil Crosswinds he'd grown to have a small empire of sorts under his thumb. Three Crows became ten, became twenty, became a city of their own. He's found he's alright with that, though, making a name for himself and coming to a point where his word has sway. He isn't all business, though. Often, he can be found just enjoying the little moments with a cup of tea or coffee, chatting with friends and family and giving them a moment just to forget the weight the world has set upon their shoulders. Rhiannon takes his hand when his fingers start to drum on the desk, their wedding rings clicking softly together, stilling his thoughts before they can begin to wander. Their son Hawthorn laughs in the next room over with his friends over some dumb joke. He can hear Rax down in the kitchen making dinner. His family. His world.

He feels no connection to fate when he looks at them, as if the world refuses to tell him its secrets. >It's common to see Leonidas fall into episodes where he get so engrossed in his work (and plans for work, such as upcoming battles) that he neglects himself and the world around him. Rhiannon is responsible for grounding him during these episodes and bringing him back to his true self. >His gentle behavior tends to make a target out of him, but those who try anything usually regret their life choices.
