 Cherry is a sweet, timid young pearlcatcher. Before being taken into Changeling's magical forest, she was often the target of bullying in her classes, other hatchlings making fun of her for being overweight. She had few friends, so when a nocturne hatchling that nobody else seemed to be able to see began to invite her to play, she was eager to accept his company. Eventually, when it was clear none of the adults were willing to do anything about it- "Oh kids will be kids, bullying is part of growing up, she just needs to grow a thicker skin-" the nocturne offered to take her someplace better. Someplace where she'd be safe, and happy, forever. Cherry, lonely as she was, agreed instantly, and was whisked away to a snowy, twilit forest...
