Selena Shiraval
"Till Death do Us Part"

In her youth, Selena was one of the most innocent, naive hatchlings ever to grace the planet. Her sheer lack of knowledge was stupefying, and put her into trouble on countless different occasions. Finally, one day, her clan had had enough, and they kicked her out, telling her to find a new home. Hurt and betrayed, Selena traveled as best as she could, often alongside adult dragons for protection, and she saw much of Sornieth. One day, on her travels, someone tried to steal her prey. They almost killed each other in the struggle before a useful scorpion made its way onto the scene, and Selena promptly stabbed the assailant with it’s venomous barb. With her attacker dying, she stepped over him heartlessly and finished her meal as he watched, life slowly flickering from him. This was the first instance in which she murdered another. As she travelled on, if someone so much as bared their teeth at her, she would kill them. Her favorite technique was strangulation via her own serpentine body, and she grew to enjoy watching them struggle and accept their fates. After quite some wandering, she decided she’d join the Plaguebringer, as she found a lot to enjoy in diseases and death. Ironically, she just so happened to land in Blight’s Bane. There, she met the wanderers, but found them to be too stuffy and hopelessly lost to pique her interest. Instead, she met Loretta, who asked her to join her cause against the wanderers. Selena, finally finding a dragon like her, accepted with glee. The only thing making her hesitate just a tad was Zhen, an imperial Selena had grown to really enjoy with his flat, sarcastic and morbid behavior. However, her doubts were soon silenced when he decided to join her and Loretta against the wanderers, and she’s been as happy as a clam since. |
