wl mlg dzpv. In the Dreamscape, she is known--a massive dire wolf, racing endlessly down scraps of dreams and unknown paths, ever running like the wind. In the real world, she is known--niece of Lykaia, legendary Dreamwalker, and heir in the role of walking in others' dreams. She was raised by Cardia in war, raised by Perma in storytelling, raised by Lykaia in dreamwalking, and she has taken to each of them with vigor. Aurea lives her life by the motto of living in the present--she feels everything loudly and wildly, she has no patience for politeness or manners, speaks freely and without thought, making her a bit rude and coarse. She's cheerful though, and generous with her time and effort as she was taught in Little Eden, thriving in the company of others. Aurea is steadfast and persistent as well, firm in the belief that anything she sets her mind to, she can accomplish one way or another. She's dogged and fearless and believes herself to be nigh invulnerable--nothing seems to make her tremble or balk. Growing up in Little Eden, it was discovered at an early age that she shared Lykaia's skill in dreamwalking, when she began telling stories of other dragon's dreams without them knowing it. She was given training by Lykaia, who taught her how to stay safe in her walks, the things to avoid--the massive red viper that lurked in the dream and other potential dangers. When Virens set out into the world himself, Aurea tagged along, the two of them inseparable growing up. The pair were blown wayward by a storm and landed in a quarantine zone infested with serthis, a fate that would've spelled their doom had they not been rescued by a small group of dragons and their wolves. They introduced themselves to the leader, a dragon named Mellori, who was well familiar with Little Eden. Mellori would have returned the pair to Little Eden had Aurea not insisted on staying, saying she could prove her usefulness, as could Virens--a healer and a dreamwalker would serve the Pack, surely? Mellori hesitated before agreeing, recent incidents making her more inclined to take on the pair than she would have normally. Thus, the pair were included as part of the Pack, and they've proven themselves as promised useful several times over.
