Since they first split the shell of their egg, Erysich has known an empty, hollow feeling that lingered in their chest. It sits heavy, a noose around their neck that constantly pulls and catches on anything and everything--they wake up feeling the loneliness, they fall asleep knowing the sensation of unfulfilled longing in their gut will never quite go away.

Hatching as an aberration, Erys chose a different form as soon as they set out into the wasteland, reshaping themselves into an uncertain echo of the Bone Castle's healer. For a brief moment, their form brought them joy, they felt whole again, and then the emptiness returned, as it always does. Erys wandered Sornieth, seeking glory, seeking praise, seeking to feed and feel whole, but no matter how much they devoured life, they could still feel the emptiness.

-Especially gifted in rot and decay--flesh only withers if they will it, but plant life is far more susceptible to their powers. The ground beneath their feet is in a constant state of wilting everywhere they walk.
-Long ago adjusted to the diet of a carnivore--withered plants make for a poor meal and despite how much they tried, everything died at their touch.
-They hate autumn. Worst season as far as they're concerned. Everything dies and is golden and beautiful and makes them ache even worse.
