Advisor to the Matriarch

Current mate: Arpat Friends: Escinca, Tsaiare, Creirwy Enemies: Flanna Zormi, Tsaiare's favourite child. Zormi, so eager to please. She preens her feathers more often than she should, but whenever Tsaiare, the matriarch, asks for a favour, Zormi is there in a heartbeat. The young dragoness grew up with Porffor, Ffyrnig, Lakke, Escinca, Spitfire and Cicero. Zormi was always a bit snobbish, flaunting whenever Tsaiare called her beautiful. Due to this, Zormi was never liked amongst those younglings, but in time, she developed a certain kinship with Escinca, who also ended up a bit outcast in the clan. Zormi only trusts her matriarch and the bogsneak, which has led to a rather lonely existence. But the coatl always assures herself that those two are the only dragons she'll ever need in this clan. When Flanna, another Coatl, joined the clan, and Tsaiare showed great interest in her, Zormi secretly became jealous. Dull colours, ones that Zormi has, are shunned amongst the Coatl, and Flanna's colouration is anything but dull. The young Zormi was often afraid that Flanna would replace her. If that happened, Zormi often thought to herself that she would move in with Escinca. But soon, times changed - the Crystalline Gala came around and Zormi found herself a lovely crystalline outfit. By that time, Tsaiare had already told her that she appreciates Zormi however she is. So Zormi decided to keep wearing the outfit, because at least then she would have some confidence next to Flanna. In truth, the coatl had no need for fear. Zormi's growing confidence, but also facade, captivated one of the Chateau's new arrivals - Arpat. Being of pale colouration himself, and having no Coatl bias of bright plumage, he became her lover. How much of it is true love and how much is blind passion towards Zormi's pretentious speech and appearance however, remains to be seen. Zormi's further envy was incited by the arrival of new Coatl of bright-coloured plumes - Taliesin and Creirwy. Neither understand why Zormi treats them so coldly, even though Creirwy is above Zormi in status. Perhaps it is Zormi's desire to be a noble herself, despite being one of the closest members to Tsaiare in the Court already. The darkness in Zormi's heart would only grow as her Lady brought in yet another Coatl, this time with brilliant shining plumes of ruby red and obsidian black. He even has gems and gold naturally adorning him! And he was promised to Flanna, a rival in Zormi's head. She grew more distant and colder from Arpat as she secretly fumed with envy, her heart vying for Vartan. How far is Zormi willing to go in order to fulfill her desire? In the end, Zormi never cheated on Arpat. Though she doesn't love him entirely, she is fond of him. Instead, she matured greatly when Umbra betrayed the Wisp Court and took her rival, Flanna away. With Flanna's betrayal of friendship to Tsaiare, Zormi emerged as a true friend to Tsaiare, being faithful to her to the very end. This brought her greater status than even the Captain of the Royal Guard or any other royal courtier that isn't Tsaiare's family. Zormi finally achieved the recognition she had been waiting for, and was then the new advisor to Tsaiare in Flanna's place. Eventually, Zormi gained a court of her own to rule with Arpat - the Pale Court.
