Hidan learned how to kill at a young age. He killed all inhabitants of his home village when he thought they strove too far from their ninja way, and joined the cult of god Jashin. Jashin adopted him as her disciple, granting him immortality as long as he sacrifices people to her.
Since then Hidan travels around as a Nuke-Nin, searching new sacrifices. Akatsuki was interested in his skills and sent Haruka to get more information about him. Character: ❖ - sadistic - ❖ ❖ - foul-mouthed - ❖ ❖ - disrespectful - ❖ ❖ - arrogant - ❖ Hidan actually likes Haruka, mainly because she is a girl and looking at least okay. Her Kekkei-Genkai caught his interest, and after experiencing it on his own body Hidan seems to respect her skills in a way. He followed her to Akatsuki and was put in a team with Kakuzu. They both don't get along well, getting on each other's nerves non-stop. Although Hidan is not the most skilled fighter, his immortality and the powers Jashin gave him make him nearly invincible. He tends to act boastful and is often caught off-guard when his opponent cannot be intimidated by his immortality. He still flirts with Haruka, using ambiguous phrases whenever talking to her. He does not like any other (male) Akatsuki very much, but enjoys to provoke them until they lose their temper. |
