My name is Whisper. I was hatched without a family, and from my first moments I have had to be independent and responsible for myself. As I understand, I was allowed into this clan thanks to my water heritage--usually the old clan leader doesn't like younger dragons, but I was an exception. I didn't have a particularly warm welcome, but life was comfortable.

However, recently things have changed. The old leader shirked her duties, and left those of us she didn't deem "worthy" to starve. So, I had to do something and I stepped up.

We call ourselves the Broken Grotto clan, if you can even call us a clan. There's four of us right now, and we take every day as it comes. There's enough food and some supplies, but also plenty of danger. I will be chronicling our story in my journal, so at least if we don't succeed, perhaps someone will learn from it. I hope I can do the clan--my clan--proud.
