Biography

Ramedar

He never really intended to travel the world, content in the wetlands that had always been his home. Things were comfortable, familiar and simple that way, and he was quite fine with all of that. The wild tales and stories were good listening, but he didn't need some epic tale or adventure.

Yet she had a way with words that stirred something in his heart he didn't believe he had. The way she described the mighty mountains, the vast swaths of clear pools where you could see to the very bottom and all the creatures within, the gleam of the stars when they reflected off the grand arcane pillars of crystal...he wanted to go see them too. Maybe it was the extra energy she seemed to have when talking about the things she'd seen and heard, or the way her eyes sparkled when she referred to places she had only heard of as of yet.

Maybe it was a crush on the large Mirror.

All he knew for sure is that he wanted to tag along. At first Snakeoil had been dismissive, but his mentioning on how he could deal with the finances and 'boring' parts of her work warmed her to the idea, and they've been traveling companions since.

At her insistence he's taken on a more 'theatrical' look, though when hatchlings goggle in wonder at the clever mimicry of a fish tank on his neck he started to understand the appeal. It might not be as real as the stories, but if it makes the visitors happy, why not?
"Snake, we raised the price to 150T five stops ago..."
