 		the transition from fae to coatl is not an enviable one, as the complete roadblock in communication between the two breeds can lead to a sense of alienation in the newly gened coatl. regardless, harvest took on the challenge.

the transformation has left him close to mute and deaf. although he remembers how to speak draconic, the monotone nature of his speech doesn't fit well in his new mouth and is handicapped without his fae crests, and his new ears make it hard to decipher the sounds. meanwhile, the whistles of clicks and hums of coatl-kind are still largely foreign to him.

harvest is not one to be discouraged, though. he was aware of the difficulties he would face, and took them on with spirit. he uses spoken words sparingly, instead writing heavily in journals about the world around him. these he shares with his friends and those who ask kindly. he is a regular at inara's tea shop.
