Biography
~Janus~
Resident of the Temple of the Beast Between Worlds in Tyr's Abyssal Core
Deep within the Abyssal core of the World of Tyr, there lies a huge Leviathan. This monster of a dragon has been alive for countless millennia, using the chaotic nature of the twin worlds as it's feeding ground. It bridges the gap between the worlds using a gigantic water bridge, feasting on Humanoid species and terrorizing the waters near the bridge. It is quite an effective deterrent for those wishing to cross the bridge to reach the other world, and many myths and legends tell of the Beast Between Worlds.
Upon the conjoining of the worlds, Janus travels to feast on the drowned bodies left in the wake of the global tsunamis. His main home is on an underwater Island that always faces it's twin planet. Upon this temple, Janus spends most of his extraordinarily long life sleeping. Only an upset in the balance can wake him, and when it does, the ancient elder is regarded as a natural disaster, old as time itself. Sometimes he'll wake for seemingly insignificant events, and this is usually foreseen as an omen, or bad prophecy.
No one can tell this giant, ancient force of nature what to do. When Janus wakes, he feeds. Those who know of his ravenous nature stay far, far out of his way.
