Dragon Log

The first of three to hatch from a nest laid by Athena and her Purple Clown consort, she is the apple of her father's eye. Her mother is quite proud of her as well, and is already teaching her youngling how to best show herself off, and how to work with the magical element of Air. This particular hatchling is enamored with the more subtle aspects of that element, and is considering "Illusion" as part of her name. Now if only she can figure out what to match it with!

7-12-14: Simple is sometimes best...she has chosen her name. It was, after all, staring her in the face the whole time. Now, to choose a mate!

9-12-14: Her Noggle has awakened to his full potential! She is justly proud of the accomplishment, and looking forward to having many enlightening discussions with him...

9-15-14: After a few days of chatting and elemental magic weaving, the Noggle has decided he wants a bit of a rest. Perusing the lair, he stumbled upon a lonely Blue Dragon Reef Snail, and introduced him to Illusion. She was entranced at first sight! Now these two new companions have started their journey into discovery... and Illusion is beginning to explore a bit more with the element of Water, having exhausted for the moment her interest in Light and Air.

10-28-14: It appears that Illusion may need some help learning how to use the less ethereal aspects of Air...like her mind. She has managed to get herself trapped in a bet with her sister "Mischief" at a Riot of Rot Kissing Booth! ( )

Hmmm...On the other hand, perhaps Illusion does not need any help at all...she just tricked her sister into kissing a dragon suffering from a nasty disease while she, herself, got to kiss a nice, strong, healthy Ridgeback...

12-12-14: After a long, enjoyable time, the Blue Dragon Reef Snail has Awakened at last! He does not appear to be inclined to go anywhere at the moment, however, which suits his ecstatic friend just fine....

1-8-15: While the Blue Dragon Reef Snail is still interested in hanging around, he knows that Illusion likes unusual creatures....especially ones that match her coloring. As such, when he stumbled on a frightened Snow Streak huddled in the back of the lair, the Snail promptly coaxed him over to his friend, who fell in love at first sight....

2-27-15: It seems that a Prank War is interrupting Clan life, courtesy of the Clan's friends over in Plague Flight. Perhaps Teeka's Clan thought that this would be an appropriate way to celebrate the Trickmurk Circus, or perhaps they just thought that it would be fun. Whatever the case, the War has been going on for some time, and has involved over half the Clan at this point. Even Illusion got swept into it, when her Uncle Nimby decided to "share the bounty" so to speak, with his "Think Ink": A concoction that would reveal the innermost secrets and darkest thoughts of anyone who used it--but only in the light of day. ( , ) Illusion was not amused.... ( )

5-4-15: Illusion has returned from an enjoyable time at the Wavecrest Saturnalia, having succeeded in "wowing" a group of dragons with her perceived prowess in guessing the truth hidden among the lies that challenging dragons spoke. It was, in her opinion, a fun way of practicing her learned gift of telepathy--and a little bit of image-sensing as well. She is thinking about talking to Norberta about the concept of "Legellimency," since her talents are now progressing to reading images and emotions as well as words....

5-8-15: The Snow Streak has progressed far from the small, frightened bird, who didn't know where he was, that the Blue Dragon Reef Snail once found. Now he is a proud member of this unusual family... and today he has Awakened at last! The entire Clan is thrilled to see the beautiful bird finally mature and grow into his own, and Illusion is very happy for her friend....
