           When Birdsong left the Scarred Wasteland for the Icefield to join the clan of Mosho, he decided to to turn from embracing disease to (mostly) curing them. He changed his name to something more lighthearted to reflect his more positive affectation and let future patrons of his healings be more at ease with him. He took inspiration from his fondness for birds. After the clan of Mosho disbanded, Rythika, Layet and Birdsong decided to stick together. Birdsong's Plague beginnings familiarized him with all of the ways a dragon's body could sicken and die, so as they journeyed to find a new home, he dedicated himself to the knowledge and use of plants, curses and cures that they came across. When Layet accidentally ingested a diseased animal when crossing through the Plaguelands, Birdsong was able to put his knowledge to the test. Even though Birdsong saved his life, Layet teases him about his name often.

          At the time of meeting Allimnore and Azraqo, they were still a small Wind clan that had no healer. Birdsong knew his role and took to it with joy after Rythika agreed to join them. His lair is filled with all sorts of birds and he uses his solar as a sort of combination menagerie and waiting room. The avian familiars have found a home with him and many have been trained to do simple tasks around the shop. His quarters are on the ground level in the large center tower of the keep so that he is equidistant from any clanmate in need.
          Birdsong retains a mostly serious manner and still dabbles with the occasional curse or poison, usually in order to learn how to fight it. He's proud to protect the clan in his own way, considering his role just as important as Rythika's. Recently he's begun whistling along with his aviary, mixing multiple wild calls to create complex tunes that his birds then try to imitate. It's pleasant to most, but can get quite noisy. Thus, Viola has placed a sound dampening spell tuned to whistles woven into the walls of his lair. FiaYOsr.png
