As his small clan grew, he began to show a knack for keeping the clan focused on certain tasks. He also writes beautifully. These talents soon landed him the position of Scribe. His responsibilities included researching action plans, keeping the formal list of the clan's priorities, and copying information into new texts for the clan's vast library. His closest friend is Ecquhart and together they spend hours poring through the older volumes in the archives searching for stories for Eqcuhart to relate to the clan through song. With as much time as he spends in the library, he's always able to come up with the perfect recommendation for any dragon in any situation. Just don't get him started on the latest obscurity that he's been researching unless you have at least an hour to spare!
He's recently begun writing small collections of novels for each of his clan members. One focuses on their element, one on their breed, another on their clan and the import of their role within it, a fourth on their personal history and the final one is about a figure from history or folklore that Azraqo feels represents them the best. Many are, of course, duplicates of volumes already in the clan's library but Azraqo commissions a Light clan to bind them in colors representative of each dragon. Thus, they are a treasured addition to each dragon's personal lair.
