          Born of two leading members of the clan, Iskra knew he would stay and serve his clan as well. What he didn't realize, was that it would include serving yet another master.
          Many young dragons are terrified when they encounter their first lightning storms. Iskra attempted to fly into it. Thankfully, he was still too young for his wings to get him into harm's way that day, but from then on he was hooked on electricity. As his magic developed, he began to use it to fashion lamps and lighting such as Zillah's harness and Indy's tail lamp. As he was born a while after the clan was first established, he's a bit dismayed that the keep is outfitted with what he views as a technologically inferior fire system for heat. As an adult, he contents himself with fashioning fixtures for optimal lighting in each room as well as performing meteorological duties for the clan.

          In between his more mundane duties, he travels to friendly Lightning clans to improve his relationship with all things electric. This places him in the position of the dragon to contact when Berwyn turn the mobile court towards the Shifting Expanse. On one of these trips, Berwyn returned with an excitable lightning dragon named Zedd. Any question of how or why was met with an apologetic shrug and a smile from Oberon before the court whisked away again on another adventure. While Iskra delights in having a friend to study lightning with, he does tire of having to return the many items Zedd borrows to test as lightning rods and whatnot.

          The discovery of Sandsurge dragons rocked Iskra's world and caused him to reevaluate his position, especially when Berwyn returned with one of them. Was he even still the best choice for the clan's Lightning Liason?
