    Darius is a collector, a deeply materialistic dragon who believes that occasions are best marked with souvenirs. He is a solitary type who becomes awkward and tongue-tied when he is confronted with other dragons; because of this, he rarely ventures outside before twilight. Like all Cursed dragons, Darius aims to cause misfortune, and he has chosen as his objective the misfortune of grief. He is a serial killer by trade, and his preferred victims are those who are well known and well loved; he often finds himself studying their lives in detail before making a move. Something about the idea of creating a void in the lives of others appeals to him, perhaps because he has so little in the way of companionship himself. Darius takes some sort of trinket from each victim, often a prized accessory of the deceased or something which seems to pertain to the victim’s relationship with others. In this way he drifts from place to place under cover of night like a harbinger of tragedy, always accompanied by his collection of stolen objects.
