Anput was a loyal priestess of Seth, god of the chaos. She was a very passionate and extroverted person who doesn't care much about if the person in front of her is a god or a common human. She is in love with Anubis, god of mummification, and together with him she has a very strong daughter, the demi-god Kebehut.

As Anubis was at one of his adventures he met Anput in a temple of Seth. She didn't recognized him as a god or she didn't care, so she used to talk like she's always talking - a completely new situation for Anubis. He fell in love with her and set up his own family with her. Since Anubis was said to be the next king of the world of the living in case his father will die, this was a scandal in the community of gods. But it was a good thing for his aunt, Isis, who hated Anubis and Anput. After receiving help from Anubis for revitalizing his father Osiris, who was killed by his brother Seth, and conceiving a child of him, Isis tried to get rid of the illegitimate heir to the throne. For keeping Anubis under control, Isis ordered to kill Anput and exile Kebehut to the underworld, where she and her father will be under the control of Osiris - far away from the throne and Horus, the legitimate heir of the throne and son of Isis and Osiris.
