Biography

KEBEHUT
Stay by my side and let's go there together? Pretty please? There... are humans!
______________________________________________

Kebehut is an Ancient Egyptian death goddess and the daughter of the god of mummification Anubis and his human wife Anput. Her name means "she from the heavenly waters" or "cooling water". She usually depicted as a heavenly serpent with a ostrich feather on her head or inofficial as a women with the head of a jackal.

Kebehut was born in the world of humans but after her mother Anput was murdered Kebehut was exiled in the underworld, Duat, where she was used as leverage for Anubis. It was her task to give water to the spirits of the dead while they waited for the mummifications process done by Anubis. She also is said to help the king to get new life but most of the time she was living isolated at a modest home together with a lot of souls, serpents and dogs. Kebehut has a weak spot for all kinds of animals since her pets were, besides Thoth, Maat and Anubis, the only living beings in her live.
Because Anubis was working and travelling a lot, she needed grew up quite fast and took care of the animals and the household. In front of her father she is the most perfect daughter but when Anubis turnes around or is threatened by somebody she shows her other side: She can be cold, calculating and manipulative but also very seductive.
After Kebehut was allowed to leave the Duat, she explores the world of the living - even though she is a bit frightened by the living humans. After a few initial difficulties with Amset she grew closer to him and now really likes to tease him~
