Zecro

Backstory: Zecro was born in the VeroKitty Clan. The mirror dragon was bullied a lot because Small fae-like size. Fortunately, Zecro always had his big sister, Alise, looking out for him whenever his parents where away. Alise was always happy to fight off anyone who intended to harm her brother whether it be physically or emotionally. Zecro’s childhood was a blissful one, despite the bulling. He would often stay up all night with Alise and his familiar, Whizmer. He may not have had many friends, but he was extremely close with the ones he did have. Although, Zecro’s childhood came to a sudden halt when Winterstar, a wanted fugitive who had been causing trouble all over Sornieth, attracked the VeroKitty Clan. Winterstar and his mecernaries had looted the VeroKitty Clan’s hoard and killed any dragons who got in their way. Alise had been one of the dragons who had fought against Winterstar and had met her end during the fight. Zecro had been devastated and filled with anger by Alise’s death. Nightshade and Nira visited the Aquafire Clan after the attack. Nira and Nightshade came to offer her condolences on behalf of her clan for the VeroKitty Clan’s losses and also decide how both clans should respond such an attack. Frost, Frog and Nira agreed to combine their armies to capture Winterstar and punish him for his many crimes. After this decision was made, Nightshade began looking for dragons in the VeroKitty Clan you wanted to help the Aquafire Clan capture Winterstar. Now, Zecro had always looked up to Nightshade. The mirror dragon had dreamed of working for Nightshade as a spy and he wanted Winterstar to be punished for his crimes so gladly signed up to help the Aquafire Clan. In a week, Zecro and many other members of the VeroKitty Clan teamed up with some of the strongest warriors from the Aquafire Clan and then, flew to the Southern Icefields (the territory Winterstar had been rumored to be living in). Once they arrived in the Southern Icefields the army broke up into smaller groups in order to cover more territory. Zecro got into a group with Nightshade and Sahara. For the first half of the trip, Zecro, Nightshade, and Sahara worked hard to gather all of the information they could about Winterstar’s whereabouts. Zecro compared tons of see witness reports and found that something’s wasn’t adding up. According the members of the Ruben Clan that was located in the Forttress of Ends, Winterstar had attacked in the morning on July 5th, 2018. According to the members of Lean’s clan in the Snowsquall Tundra, Winterstar had also attacked their clan in the morning on July 5th, 2018. This however didn’t make sense though, considering the fact that the Forttress of Ends and the Snowsquall Tundra were hundreds of miles apart and Winterstar certainly couldn’t be in two places at once. Zecro decided not to tell Nightshade and Sahara about this new information he had uncovered because it seemed to impossible to be true. During the three dragons’ travels, a nasty blizzard started up. Sahara, Nightshade and Zecro slowly began to freeze in the cold. Fortunately, they came a accross a small cottage. The three cold dragons banged on the cottage door and by the mercy of the Tidelord, a dragon and a snow nymph opened it from the inside. The dragon said his name was Bucky and that the snow nymph’s name was Frostbite. Sahara, Zecro, and Nightshade stayed in Bucky’s cottage for a month while they waited out the blizzard. The dragons had a lot of fun together (despite the fact they cramped in a small cottage). The dragons shared stories with one another and laughed often. Zecro told Bucky about his sister, Alise. It was the first time he had ever talked about Alise since her death. Zecro even dared to tell Bucky that his sister passed away and that it had been hard to except. Bucky could tell by the sad look in Zecro’s eyes and the mirror’s use of past tense verbs that Alise had passed to another life. Bucky placed a hand on the mirror’s shoulder. He didn’t say anything, but Zecro knew the old skydancer understood. Although, everything Zecro thought he knew about Bucky came into question when Frostbite called Bucky Winterstar. Nightshade, Sahara and Zecro became silent all of a sudden and looked at Bucky. “Frostbite, why did you call Bucky Winterstar?” Zecro asked as tension began to build in the room. Now, Bucky had come to trust Nightshade, Sahara and Zecro so he decided to tell them the truth. Bucky explained that his real name was Winterstar and that Bucky was just a nickname. Winterstar told the three dragons that he had been framed by worshippers of the Icewarden because he had fought and wounded their deity. Bucky had battled the Icewarden because the deity of ice had in fact killed Winterstar’s older brother, Iolanthe long story short. The new information was a lot to process to the the least. Although, Zecro believed Bucky’s story because it agreed with the evidence he had found about Winterstar. There was also a sadness in the skydancer’s eyes when he mentioned Iolanthe, a kind of sadness Zecro knew couldn’t be faked. When the blizzard finally subsided, Zecro set out the catch the imposter who had killed Alise and clear Winterstar name. Zecro couldn’t spy on other dragons like Nightshade could not could he be flirtatious enough to pry information from lovestruck dragons like Sahara, but Zecro was great at paying detective. After months of investigation, Zecro, with the help of Sahara and Nightshade, had gathered enough evidence to prove Winterstar’s innocence. In the aftermath, Winterstar’s imposters we’re caught and thrown in prison. Zecro managed to find the imposter who had killed his sister. There was a dark part of Zecro’s heart that had wanted to kill Alise’s murderer, Zecro knew Alise wouldn’t have wanted him to kill a dragon solely for revenge so he let the dragon relieve a trial and meet his fate in prison. After Winterstar’s innocence had been proven and the imposters had been thrown in jail, Zecro decided he wanted to continue investigating more cases to bring criminals to justice so he decided to become a full on detective. Later on the mirror’s life, Sahara and Nightshade had worried that Zecro was overworking himself so they set the mirror up on a blind date with Zula (his childhood crush). After many more dates, Zecro moved from the VeroKitty Clan to the Aquafire Clan and became Zula’s official mate.

Personality: Zecro is very adamant. Once he sets his mind on something, its very hard to convince him to change his mind. The mirror dragon is curious and chatty by nature. Whenever Zecro is on the verge of discovering something, he tends to speak very quickly without pausing or taking a breath, which makes it hard for some slower dragons to understand him.

Clan Position: Detective/Warrior

Soul Mate: Zula

Familiar: Many Mother’s Days ago, Zecro had wanted to make bouquet for his mother, Velaris. While the hatchling was searching for lovely flowers, he stumbled upon a Creeping Tendril. However, the young mirror had mistaken the Creeping Tendril for an ordinary flower and tried to pick it. The Creeping Tendril dug its legs into the ground and tried to stay put. Although, Zecro was stronger than the Creeping Tendril and ripped the small creature from the earth. While Zecro uprooted the Tendril, one of its legs was ripped off. The Creeping Tendril cried out in pain. At that point the hatchling had realized that the violet he had tried to pick was a Creeping Tendril. Zecro felt terrible for harming the creature so he decided to bring the Creeping Tendril to the VeroKitty Clan’s healers. Once the tendril’s leg had grown back, the mirror dragon told the tiny being that he was free to leave, but the creeping tendril had come to like Zecro and decided to stay. Zecro decided to name the Creeping Tendril Whizmer and protect the creature from dragons who would bring it harm. Nowadays, Whizmer helps Zecro with his detective work and follows the mirror dragon everywhere.
