Curantis is one of the more amiable dragons to emerge from the Scarred Wasteland. Though he enjoyed the company of his fellow plague brethren, he loathed the atmosphere and the presence of constant, incurable disease. But his disdain for the plague taught him how to handle it. Various therapies and remedies became known to him and were founded by him whilst he cared for the sick in his family. But the stifling atmosphere and his weak immune system threatened to do him in as well. Once he was of age, he departed his home and breathed in the dusty yet fresh air of Dragonhome. Here he became close to one of the local clan leaders, Paragon, forming an intimate yet non-romantic bond with her. His love of her and of new life drove him to sire her children. He also cares for the nesting grounds and soon-to-be parents.

While not tending to hatchlings, he attends to the physically ill, be it of wounds or sickness. He also provides medical services for those outside the clan, meaning he can sometimes be away for days at a time as he travels across Sornieth to treat dragons from distant lands who are too far gone for their local doctors to cure.

Aside from work, his hobbies are surprisingly outside the world of medicine. He particularly loves weaving, be it for baskets or apparel, making him appear especially paternal when he's seen weaving fabric beside a nest of closely guarded eggs, like a mother knitting socks for her newborns.
