( Tama has served his time as king, and now lives a peaceful retirement with his mate Quill. His bio remains unchanged, preserving his time as prince. ) The first born son of clan matriarch Paragon and her mate Curantis, Tama's first steps into this world were celebrated by all within the fold. Gifts from clanmates surrounded him from the moment he opened his eyes, and then he knew; from the very beginning, he was loved. For he wasn't only raised by Paragon and Curantis, but by all older Dragons in the clan. They treated him as their own, so he was blessed with more parents than he could count. And, because he was the only egg in his clutch, he was given undivided attention from hatching day. Growing in such a warm and gentle environment has made him remarkably kind. He radiates every bit of love for others as his mother does, and is always prepared to do all within his power to help others as his father does. Still, as he matured, he became withdrawn; less conversational, and more introspective. This worried his family at first, but they learned to respect his personal space in time, and with all this time to himself, he's discovered a deep and insatiable love for books. The fairy tales his family read to him as a hatchling, the history tomes of Dragonhome, and the books he's gathered from all over Sornieth. He has amassed quite the collection, and some wonder if his hoard is the largest hoard of books of any known Dragon. Though, even if it's not... it soon will be. Unsurprisingly, when he's not reading nor collecting books, he's writing them. He's made a name for himself as a talented author, writing both fiction and nonfiction alike. Those who've lived the nonfiction say his retelling of the event makes them feel like they've traveled into the past within these pages. And his fiction has even brought Dragons from the farthest Southern Icefield to pick up their own copy personally and speak with the Tundra behind it. But despite the popularity, both as heir to the clan and author, his favorite thing to do is record the mundane day-to-day life of Dragonhome and his clan. To preserve history and capture these simple moments. When asked why, he says with confidence, "Someone hundreds of years from now will want to read this more than anything." |
