Spyro

Backstory: Spyro was born in the Gladeveins. Although, his parents, Fable and Eretria were traveling merchants so he didn’t stay there for long. Spyro got see a lot of Sornieth within the first few weeks of his life. Although, that all changed when Spyro’s parents decided to visit the Zephyr Steppes. The town Spyro and his family were staying in was attacked by small army of rogue serthis. In the mist of the chaos Spyro was separated from his family. However, Spyro got to see Leon battle against the serthis. In the mist of the battle, one of the serthis severed Leon’s left wing from his body. The tundra dragon still managed to defeat the serthis and chase them out of the Zephyr Steppes. Spyro being both curious and scarred followed Leon from a safe distance. The Windsinger came from the sky. He was so greatfull to Leon for defeating the serthis that he gave Leon a new wing and the power of Zephyr Steppes’s winds. When the deity left, Spyro forgot his fear and started asking Leon a Thousand question (one of them included Spyro asking Leon if he could autograph his wings). Now, Leon tried to return the hatchling to his parents, but Spyro’s parents were no where to be found. Since Leon’s return to the Tsunami Flats had been halted by Spyro, Nira grew very worried for Leon’s safety. The fae dragon flew to the Zephyr Steppes. It wasn’t long before she found Leon and Spyro. At first, Nira tried to help Leon with his search. Although, Nira knew their efforts were futile once she found the lifeless body of a female spiral dragon who fit Spyro’s description of mommy. Now, Nira and Leon had been trying to have hatchlings for some time so she decided to take Spyro in. Leon didn’t like the idea at first because he was a dragon who loved peaceful quiet, (and that was something one could never find in Spyro’s company) but Nira gradually changed his mind. Leon and Nira took Spyro to the Tsunami Flats. Spyro grew up calling Leon and Nira his aunt and uncle. Since the serthis’s attack had happened when Spyro was very young, the spiral dragon forgot about the viscous attack that had claimed his mother’s life. However, Spyro’s past came back to haunt him once he reached adulthood and found the body of a female serthis on the shoreline one day. Spyro approached the creature, cautiously. He recognized the serthis’s face, but couldn’t when he had seen the creature. As Spyro was examining the Serthis, she woke up and attacked Spyro. Spyro and the serthis, instantly engaged in deadly combat. Although, when the serthis raised her sword, Spyro remembered her. They had met in the Zephyr Steppes. This particular serthis had been a mere child, then. She had corned Spyro. She raised her sword and planned to kill Spyro then and there, but the young serthis’s concious had stopped her. This time, however, the serthis was going to kill Spyro. Fortunately, Leon had jumped into action and pinned the serthis down before had a chance to finish the kill. The Aquafire Clan held the serthis as prisoner. Umira chose to interrogate the serthis. Apparently, the serthis’s name was Scarlet. Spyro asked Nira and Leon why exactly he had come to live with them. Once Spyro learned the truth he desperately wanted to know what had happened to his father and his siblings. So in the dead of night, Spyro went to Scarlet’s cell. Scarlet told Spyro that the attack Windswept Plateau on the had been orchestrated by her father. Her father had captured many dragons and made them his slaves. Scarlet said that there was a chance his family could have taken captive. Scarlet agreed that she could lead Spyro to the dragon slaves, but only if Spyro freed her. Spyro was determined, however, to find his family and prove himself to his clan so he agreed. The next night, Scarlet and Spyro began their journey to the Rotrock Rim, the heart of the serthis society. Along the way, Scarlet confessed that the reason she had wond up in the Tsunami Flats was because own brothers had tossed her into the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Spyro asked Scarlet why was going back to them. Scarlet said that her father and brothers had killed her mother and they tried to kill her so she wanted revenge. When Spyro and Scarlet did infiltrate the serthis’s lair, Spyro told Scarlet that he had seen the good in her once and believed it was still there. Those words echoed in Scarlet’s head when she got the chance to kill her father. In the last moment, Scarlet decided to let father and brothers live. She chose instead to help Spyro do what seemed impossible and free every last dragon. Scarlet and Spyro succeed in freeing the slaves, but their own expense. Spyro and Scarlet were captured and tortured by the Serthis. Fortunately, Spyro’s father and siblings had been among the slaves. Once they were freed, Spyro’s family begged the strongest dragon clans they knew for help. Many clans refused, however, because they were afraid of the Serthis. Once the Aquafire Clan caught word fo what happened to Spyro, the entire clan joined forces with Spyro’s family charged to the Rotrock Rim. The Aquafire Clan freed Spyro successfully. Although, the clan was planning on leaving Scarlet behind, but Spyro didn’t let them. When the dust settled, Spyro was reunited with his clan and his family. Fable offered Spyro a place in his clan, but Spyro refused because he knew his real home was in Aquafire. Still, Spyro promised he would visit his family.

Personality: Spyro the kind of dragon who talks very fast and very frequently. Silence is a rare and fleeting thing in the company of this spiral dragon. Spyro isn’t the humblest of dragons either. Although, Spyro makes up for his ego with the encouragement and the contagious enthusiasm he gives to others. Like other members of his species, Spyro is very good at multitasking, can’t stand sitting still and takes two minutes naps at random times (sometimes in the middle of a conversation) during the day.

Familiar: Scarlet Scalene will argue that Spyro is her familiar, but regardless she chose to join the Aquafire Clan and stay with Spyro after he saved her from the Serthis prison. Scarlet is a fairly quiet and observant serthis. Scarlet is also the only one who can translate Spyro’s words when Spyro starts to talk faster than he can think. Much like Spyro, Scarlet can barely sit still and sleeps for short periods of time. Originally, she possessed her father’s hatred for dragons because she falsely believed they were responsible for her mother’s death long ago, but now Scarlet prefers the company of dragons more than the company of her own species. Also, Scarlet secretly despises killing things. Scarlet is very close to the Creedasil family as well. Olivia Creedasil has been a mother to Scarlet. Sheena Creedasil is one of Scarlet’s best friends. And as for Magnus Creedasil...well he just might have just stolen the serthis’s heart.
