The southwestern swamplands are lush with wildlife. Both the Viridian Labyrinth and the Tangled Wood press into each other, meeting in standstill at the border. A menagerie of plants, animals, and the in-between bleed in from either side, intermingling into a single ecosystem. Stunted mangroves loom with wetland pines, eclipsed by the tall grass that blooms in mottled greens and dull purples. Dangerous creatures lurk in the shallow depths of the bog ponds while toads hop across lily pads above them, preying on swarms of buzzing insects.

But, the animals aren't the only ones taking advantage of their home. With so much verdancy in the swamp, there's infinite opportunity for aspiring botanists or alchemists to learn- something Rosemary understands well.

Rosemary possesses extensive knowledge of the region's herbs and their uses. Countless experiments with various materials have made him a medicinal master, and he operates a tiny clinic out of his den in the Alocves' stump. He doesn't get many visitors besides the occasional ill traveler that makes it past the bandits, but that's for the best. His claws are already full tending to his repeat patients- dragons from the clan that've become infected by the glowing, blue mushrooms that emerge from their home's crumbling walls.
