True Familar
Flora Cerdae
Personality: Carver is a wind dragon right down to his bones, fun loving and energetic. He seldom lets bad things get him down for long, and is always looking for something new to entertain himself.

History:Carver was born in the shadow of the Twisting Crescendo, his family there caring for a mixed herd of cerdae who's sheared fur they sold as silken threads. Carver grew up to this life, loving every minute of his time spent guiding and protecting the herd. But like so many of his flight, the imperial had a thirst for adventure from the moment he was born. As soon as he was old enough, he took a small splinter herd of seven flora cerdae to call his own and left his birth clan. He spent a year swimming with the marens, three months chasing pixies about the Starwood Strand, six months playing a deadly game of hide and seek with hostile clans in the Wyrmwound, another year exploring the many caverns and crevices of Dragonhome…

The imperial saw and experienced many things during his adventure, declaring each new discovery more wondrous than the one before it. His small herd were his only family during this time, constantly by his side.

His greatest adventure of all, however, would not come until he found his way to the Southern Icefields and heard stories of a system of crystal caves hollowed out of a mighty glacier.

When Carver first visited Clan Brayuh’s territory, he was surprised to be stopped and forced to ground by the clan’s Phoenix knights- including their then-captain, the skydancer Anders. Though initially wary of the stranger, Clan Brayuh agreed to let Carver stick around, and Anders more-or-less assigned himself to keep tabs on the imperial and make certain he didn’t cause trouble. Anders was everything Carver was not- serious, responsible, and almost obsessively hard-working. The stick-in-the-mud skydancer drove Carver batty, and he started playing pranks in an effort to get Anders to loosen up a little- dragging him into the spring, pelting him with snowballs, and so on. Somewhat to Carver’s surprise, after a time Anders did mellow out some, returning the imperial’s pranks and jokes and even offering some of his own.

Carver grew fond of the skydancer as they spent more time in each other’s company. His heart fluttered and his scales warmed when they shared a talk or a joke, and often they would huddle together to stay the cold of the long winter nights. As a few weeks with the clan turned into a few months, he gradually began to realize that no matter how his nomadic wind spirit called for him to move on, he just didn’t want to. His soul belonged to the wind, but his heart had been captured by the ice- and by Anders in particular. After much waffling, Carver decided to settle in Clan Brayuh, his small herd of cerdae a welcome addition to the clan's textile industry.

Love Life: Unfortunately, two years after Carver settled with the clan to stay with the love of his life, that love in his own turn grew restless. For reasons of his own Anders decided to leave the clan temporarily, and though Carver offered, begged go to along, Anders insisted that he had to go alone. Now Carver waits for his beloved to return to him, each night climbing to the top of the glacier and squinting against the aurora in the hopes of seeing a particular shape flying finally home….
