Caliburn is the only son of Yasri and Durendal of Clan Wicked Wings of The Observatory. His birth was well anticipated by his clan members and parents, and none were surprised when it was discovered at his birth that he had a high amount of magical energy by the clan's Magic Society. His magic seems to be in the vein of being a Magician like Dinah, something the Society didn't expect, though.

What's more startling is the fact that while his magic is random and broad, it also verges onto illusion magic similar to Facilier. It's allowed the young and mysterious Skydancer to get out of many sticky situations, yet he doesn't seem to want to use his magic for a higher calling. He's expressed wanting to be a performer who reaches audiences all across Sornieth. As to if he'll continue that plan or not, only time will tell, but the Society is keeping a close eye on him.

In the meantime, he's settled down with Shikashi, his mate, and the two have recently had their first nest together.
