Mortimer is a son of Caliburn and Shikashi of Clan Wicked Wings of The Observatory. Out of all of his clutch siblings, he is seen as the most out there in terms of personality and what piqued his interest. A rather quiet and mysterious young Skydancer, he doesn't speak much, and when he does everyone is surprised by his extremely low pitched voice.

Beyond that, Mortimer has a grim fascination with becoming an undertaker, either just for his home clan or for a future clan one day. To him there's a beauty in death and being able to send a dragon off to their next life, but many do not share his sentiment. Still, he hopes to learn everything he can so that he can be a proper undertaker for a clan one day.
