Magister came from a clan of tea merchants in Greatwyrm's Breach of Dragonhome, although his origin is unknown. They call him The King of Fools or The Jester King. He has adopted a school of jesters he refers to as his children and does his best to provide for them.

He is a jester by way and a jester by trade. Among his many quirks, he tends to speak in rhyming riddles. When Magister started his school for jesters, he set up his curriculum to teach jesters-in-training:

* Multi-lingual studies (for best communication skills)
* Performance arts (every jester has a niche and sticks with it)
* Weapons training and Practical magic use (defending your life is important if ever in a tricky situation)
* Healing (because it's dangerous for Jesters, so it's best to be prepared to save yourself in times of serious trouble and it helps to make allies when you can heal them)

His weapon of choice is a combination of wit and any number of his toys, most specifically his scepter. He tends to hit people with this or use it as a weapon only when necessary. Because Magister is a powerful Jester and can therefore effectively use magic (much like a Trickster can), the scepter can become whatever he wishes it to be.

This mysterious character has caused a series of riots and must be stopped. He's the advocate of all jesters, yet he is no rebel or revolutionary. His detached stance allows him to take the side of the victim in order to curb the excesses of the system without ever trying to overthrow it – his purpose is not to replace one system with another, but to free everyone from the fetters of all systems.

He has sort of had a thing with dragons of all types and genders before, but to be fair, practically everybody who comes in contact with him has an "almost thing" with him, whether they realize it or not. He's a wild one. Passion, wit, and fierceness are about all he has. Magister can be defined as a strong character. He's been saving himself from bad situations for most of his life, so Magister dominates every situation. It's just how he is and it's easy to get swept up in his act.

He is very fond of riddles and playing games. Additionally, he is in possession of exceptional verbal and physical dexterity, and is a most dexterous thief. He has leadership skills and talent enough to start riots, run a school, and raise his children.
