This clan is (mostly) a found family of dragons. They call it Haven. A safe place. A refuge from travel and danger. Clan Haven welcomes all who enter to stay as long as they like.

Haven is permanently situated in the Zephyr Steppes because its members just want a calm and peaceful place to live. Although there are some curious dragons in particular who like to make the journey through the Twisting Crescendo and up to the Cloudsong for the thrill of it to see how far they can get, most prefer to stay put and they all consider the Zephyr Steppes their proper home.

Who answers the figurative door of the clan:

~ Rosette (as head of the Welcome Wagon) or Rui (as resident helper) are usually the first to seek out visitors.

~ Zareb and/or Sylph (as the clan leaders) will be drawn in to the scene if some kind of major event (such as suspicious dragons, someone who appears to need help, or someone specifically asking to see a leader) occurs while they are scouting the perimeter. And if Queenie isn't out traveling or hunting at the time, she is also on top of situations like this.

~ Any situation involving babies appearing or getting dropped off at Haven's borders would result in Rosette and/or Arseni being first on the scene.

~ Raynan and his mafia always put in an appearance to inspect new visitors or prospective clan members, especially if the above forementioned dragons are not present or are otherwise occupied at the time.

~ But it is also possible for any of Haven's members to randomly bump into a visitor on their way in or out. There are many who come and go freely as they please here.

Project Wishlist (for my own personal reference) is kept by the clan outfitter/errand-runner, Rui. He works very hard to fill orders and keep everyone happy.

Solarfox123 - The Glade
The association and friendship between the Glade and Haven began with a small group of dragons migrating to the Zephyr Steppes to help forge a new clan here. Steadily over the years, more dragons from the Labyrinth found their way to this windy home mostly by chance. But then one day a great storm blew the Glade's treasured bard all the way into the Twisting Crescendo as if by fate... and he awoke in the cradle of Haven's welcoming arms. When he had recovered and returned home, he was able to share the story of where the Glade's former clanmates had gone and communication has been frequent ever since.

Nardaviel - The New Moon Enclave
The Enclave has many resources and connections. Haven just so happens to be one of them, forged when three of its members relocated to the peacefulness of the Zephyr Steppes. The connection has remained strong enough that the leader of The Enclave considers Haven a safe enough place to send Imperials seeking refuge away from the Ruins.

Nostalgic's Spire is the center for where this inter-clan friendship began. All it took to bring Haven into the loop was Xaldi moving into Wind territory and settling down here. She sent word to Boi's Rest to inform her daughter of her new whereabouts and, before much time had passed, word had spread and more dragons from all over started moving in. It started with some responsible parents sending their children to a safe place; resulted in Acedia getting curious about this territory Xaldi went away to and ending up joining the mafia upon her arrival; and then the pirates got involved in overseas trade. Oh well, the more the merrier!

rainphee - Rara Avis
Upon Demos' recommendation, Kinshiro and his mates were drawn to The Golden Rose for its selection of teas and sweets, but they wound up with the discovery that Kinshiro's younger sister Halindor was the tavern's owner. As the siblings worked on establishing the connection they were never able to make growing up, the rest of Haven worked with Arlen to establish a messenger outpost in Rui's shop. Suteki often makes deliveries of news and resources between the two clans in her airship, as several members of Haven in particular are very interested in the magical gemstones Rara Avis digs out of its mines.
