Biography
Name meaning: The Hebrew term "Abaddon" (Hebrew: אֲבַדּוֹן Avaddon, meaning "doom"), and its Greek equivalent "Apollyon" (Greek: Ἀπολλύων, Apollýōn) appear in the Bible as both a place of destruction and an archangel of the abyss. In the Hebrew Bible, abaddon is used with reference to a bottomless pit, often appearing alongside the place שְׁאוֹל (Sheol), meaning the realm of the dead.
In the New Testament Book of Revelation, an angel called Abaddon is described as the king of an army of locusts; his name is first transcribed in Greek (Revelation 9:11—"whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon," a name that means "destruction") as Ἀβαδδών, and then translated (which in Greek means "the Destroyer", Ἀπολλύων, Apollyon).
Abaddon was born in the Mirrorlight Promenade.
Her father was a skilled thief and performer, so she learned many of her tricks from him.
She then went on to learn many more tricks from dragons residing in The Behemoth.
She came to Haven seeking out the Jesters.
Note: She arrived in the Glade mere weeks before the harpy invasion, so she was there for the chaos and panic leading up to it. By that point, the weak, wounded, and young dragons had been moved into the Behemoth after Gobi's nightmare, so it's possible she could have entered the clan there directly. It's also possible that she could have joined via encountering a Glade member somewhere in the Shrieking Wilds or Worldedge Wetlands (the area the Glade's territory spanned at the time) and then getting redirected to the new location in the Behemoth.
