Born into a life he never asked for, Raptor knows nothing other than what he has learned as part of this clan and subclan. He is a smart mirror, educated by books and observations more than experience, but he puts his knowledge to use. Though he would never compare himself to the divine Plaguebringer, he does dabble in playing with contagious disease. He has built a high-tolerance to it himself by playing around with what no one else dares, and has developed some skill in the practice.

One strong side-effect of his hobby is a strange growth on his back that occasionally causes him some pain. He usually doesn't pay it too much attention, though. He also enjoys whistling while he works, sometimes creating very complex tunes when he's concentrating on his work that he can never replicate later. The whistling irritates his father.
