Biography
neutral evil
Zomderg Subclan
Pack leader A long time ago, before Grimme had any companions, he was a savage, feral creature that ate almost anything that crossed his path in the Scarred Wasteland. Local clans that were pestered by him eating their resources began to gather to drive him out. He disappeared before they could. After a while, the clans believed he was gone and lowered their defenses back to regular levels of paranoia and conflict. Then their hatchlings began to disappear. Many years later, a pale mirror settled down on the edge of the Abiding Boneyard, and soon other dragons began to gather around him, magnetized by the mirror's apathy and complete neutrality. Soon their hatchlings began to go missing, one by one, until the new dragons were forced to confront the issue. They found Grimme, emaciated and completely uncivilized, in the middle of scarfing down a meal of a bushel of plague bats the clan had noticed missing. The sight stirred emotions in the dark, twisted hearts of the clan, all the dragons experience something different. Pity won over mercy, so the clan decided to take in the starving imperial, feeding him from their stores and attempting to civilize him again. They did not hold their missing hatchlings against him, for that is the way of a Plague clan, the weak fall to the strong. And Grimme was very strong, strong enough that he began to gather more of his own kind to him. As a sign of respect, Grimme now leaves the clan's hatchlings alone, feeding from plenty of other resources. |
