Emerre

Give a hearty hello to Emerre, one of the clan's top cooks!


As you continue, you come across this wonderful Ridgeback. You notice she's cooking, and mixing something and as you take a close look at the whisk in her claws, you notice scrawled on it are letters that read "Artianna's". You chuckle at that as, fully aware of the Ridgeback's "borrowing" system, and say hello. "Ah, hello there!" She says, turning to you, but pouring the mix into a pie pan. "Wanna clean the whisk for me?" she asks, winking, as you'd been longing to lick it and take it from her when she hands it to you. As you take a second to get to know her, an oven behind her beeps, and she pulls out an amazing looking pumpkin pie. You hand the whisk back, and she slices you a piece once it's cooled. "Here, enjoy a slice from the kitchen of Emerre," she says as you take the plate and she goes to introduce herself :)


Emerre is a nice, kind derg that loves to cook. She is known for "borrowing" other's cooking utensils, but as the others knows this is a part of Ridgebacks & their society, they try not to let it get to them. As one of the head cooks, she loves to rule the kitchen, and can also make a mean pumpkin pie and soup. She loves cooking, and if she had a cutiemark, she'd have something cooking related cuz that's how good she is at it, and it'd probably be a picture of her specialty pumpkin pie :) She loves to join in the bake sale the clan hosts from time to time. In her free time, when she's not busy in the kitchen, Emerre loves spending time with her family & working with plants in her small garden where she grows most of her veggies & plant-related ingredients. She also enjoys a good book from time to time, but more often than not, you can find Emerre slaving over a stove :) When she was younger, she loved to help her mom in the kitchen, and this was how she discovered her passion for the culinary arts :D


Currently wed to Autumn, and proud mom of some amazing daughters the clan wouldn't be the same without, Emerre loves her life & makes a great support for her family :) However, it wasn't always like this as things were different when she was younger...In the beginning of the clan, it was still small so there were tighter bonds among the dergs. She was close with Autumn & hung out with him alot & they shared many thoughts, hopes & wishes between each other, as best friends do. Throughout time, she began to develop feelings for him, yet kept them to herself since she was incredibly shy & didn't want to ruin the relationship they already had. She became sad, also, when she heard he liked Cornucopia instead of her, and was there for him when he was turned down by the Imperial after finally getting the nerve up to tell her. At that news, a hope blossomed in Emerre that she might actually have a chance since Cornie didn't feel the same, and after having a talk about it with her parents & explaining the whole situation, she approached him with her own feelings, after he had healed & gotten over Cornie. Autumn didn't have feelings for Emerre at first, and wasn't entirely sure in the beginning, but was curious to see where it would go. And as they began seeing each other & dating, he began to get deeper feelings for her... And as they were together, she came to the understanding of that she also had deeper feelings than even she realizedfor him and thus after a while more of dating, the two of them got married. After being happily married, they decided after a bit of married life to welcome into the world their daughters, which leads them to where the happy family is today. :)

Emerre is proud of each one of her daughters, and is one of the proudest moms in the clan as one of her own daughters, Winter, was chosen to be exalted and serve under Windsinger. She loves seeing her daughters fight for glory in the coliseum, and is proud of Valentia for owning a successful clothing store. She also enjoys the company of the Clown Charger Familiar, which she has named Pumpkin, after his coloration & her favorite food :) He also likes to help in the kitchen but try as he might, he just can't get the pumpkin pie recipe down and just ends up making a mess of things every time he tries until she swoops in and saves the day (and the pie XD ). Pumpkin also loves to swipe a thing or two from the kitchen, stealing whatever tasty treat he can get his hooves on, and Emerre has found she can't stop him (no matter how many times she tells him he's just going to get fat) XD

Emerre's role is clan Baker & Head Cook! While her specialties are Fall and pumpkin related items, she has also tried her claw (hand) at making other treats, pastries and breads and finds she's quite skilled at it and often holds bake sales and potlucks for all to enjoy her foods. :D She also cooks for her husband's Fall Fun festivities, and everyone loves her apple cider she makes only exclusively in the Fall. (asking her to make it out of season is like asking a chicken to fly XD )
