Biography
Mate: Oceanhunter
Hatchlinghood
So it turns out her father is terrible with names.
That much, she can remember well. He looked at her, named her Sapphire, and then all the other adults turned to glare at the nocturne. She gurgled and giggled, reaching up with her forepaws until father let her ride around on his neck.
Ever since then, she'd been clingy, and every opportunity she could Sapphire clambered onto mother or father's scaly backs, or her caretaker Bahram's soft coat of fur, and rode around with them to see the operations of the clan, marveling at it with wide eyes. There's so much that goes into it! There's hunting, healing, organizing the hoard, recordkeeping, exploring... her head could burst! She wonders what she'll be when she grows up.
Lesser Lair
She and Oceanhunter get along quite well, she feels. He's often obsessed with expanding the lair for future hatchlings and arrivals, looking at tunnels and muttering to himself as he scribbles on parchment with an ink-soaked claw.
If she's honest with herself, she'd much rather be out with Xylona, mapping the area. But Oceanhunter's funny, he's easy to be around, and easy on the eyes to boot. She doesn't mind crawling through dark tunnels as long as he's there.
Mighty Lair
Wispwillow Grove is nice, she supposes. There's plenty of room to run about with the fellow mirrors of her clan, chasing and snapping at each other. Like, it's no Driftwood, but sure.
Sapphire's duties to the clan mainly consist of keeping her doofus of a mate, Oceanhunter, from getting himself killed while reinforcing the lower areas of the caves for future expansions. But she likes doing that; they work side by side in nice, blessed silence, with the most chatter being him asking her to help hold things.
12/1/17: Bred with Oceanhunter.
