Apostasia

BIOGRAPHY
The Starfall Isles are littered with observatories, universities, and laboratories. Apostasia’s talent for magic found herself in one of the largest schools for magic sponsored by the Arcanist himself.

She took her studies seriously at first. Placed into House Runesworn, she found other dragons willing to push the limits of magic in the name of “what if”. But her enthusiasm and ambition dwindled over the years. The university professors discouraged her from pursuing the magic she wanted, and her friends slowly were either expelled or dropped out for doing reckless and dangerous experiments. Five years after she was accepted, Apostasia got herself expelled by raising an army of dead Fallout Streaks and sending them in a skeletal swarm at the professors.

After being expelled, Apostasia wasn’t sure where she was going to go. She wandered the Starfall Isles and crossed over into the Southern Icefields aimlessly, where she met Arthas and his then-thrall, Jaina. They ended up trapped in a snowstorm together. Apostasia learned Arthas was studying much of the same thing she was, and she enamored him enough with talk of necromancy and dark magic that he murdered Jaina in front of her and instead took her for his thrall.

RELATIONSHIPS

Energetic, sharp-edged Lailyn annoys the hell out of Apostasia. It's not uncommon for them to break into snarling arguments and battles of insults if they run into each other in the halls. While Almsivi and Arthas do try to keep them away from each other, it sometimes just doesn't work that way.
