Eisheth

Growing up, Eisheth mostly spent her time around her father, given he was the nest caretaker of the clan. She learned to preen her wings, how to know which feeling she sensed was which, and such. Very useful when her cousins visited, since two of them were fae.

But what she really liked to do was watch Netherwind; she'd pester Mother and Father to let her out of the lair, and she'd sit and watch the nocturne dragon do elaborate spirals and dances in the air. When she gets older, she hopes she can practice with him.
With her feathery wings growing into their full adult size, she decided she could practice her flight skills much better. It's hard to get Netherwind alone, though; when practicing flight he's in his own world, and beyond that he's usually with Periwinkle, the two of them behaving horrendously cute together. But when she can get the cheery nocturne alone, he's always ready to advise her on rolls, loops, and such.

Of course, flying well doesn't help her family directly. Eisheth often spends her time catching insects, looking for the cracks, sensing the tiny glimmers of animalistic emotion. Her serthis friend - an oddity to be sure - Carina helps her, too, and she's grateful for the assistance. It's nice, easy work.
Everything's coming along splendidly for Eisheth! She and Carina are getting along, her and Tallulah are closer every day, and both her flying and insect catching are doing quite well under Netherwing's tutelage.

There's plenty of new arrivals, too. She'd prefer letting her father handle those disputes, but he's usually holed up in the nesting grounds making sure the eggs and hatchlings have everything they need. So whenever Forestfalcon starts squawking at someone, or Bendal passive aggressively starts something, it's up to her to come along and smooth it out with her emotion senses.

It's not really what she'd prefer to be doing. But noblesse oblige, and all that.
