Valeth

He's always loved the stars.

He doesn't get to see them a lot, since Dad's piretty strict about keeping him in the nest. Hmmph. He's not so strict with Eisheth! But he is allowed out sometimes, usually by Mom. When he does, he stares up through the forests of the Driftwood Drag and marvels at the tapestry of stars and blackness. It's so beautiful, he could stare at it for hours, if it weren't for Dad dragging him back in for bedtime.
The clan has grown quite large since Selriona and Madock first dug it into the drag's riverbanks. But while that leaves more mouths to feed, the situation with food has been squared away quite well and doesn't leave Valeth with much to do in regards to that. He still goes out and forages or fishes if someone else wants to take the day off, he does it happily. But mostly he keeps to his hatchlinghood hobby, putting together telescopes and staring up at the vast heavens around Sornieth.
Valeth is not at all happy about moving to Wispwillow. The canopy of trees is dense and unbroken, making it all but impossible to look through his telescopes to the heavens. Sometimes he jokingly thinks he should've been hatched from in arcane nest.

In the Driftwood Drag, he could stargaze all he wants. But now, that is not so. He'll have to think of something drastic.
