Caryo

Caryo didn't really like speaking with other dragons. It always made him so painfully aware of how different he was, how little he could understand their intents. And while he could understand his brother Rydian, this soon translated to closing off from him. The only one he really felt comfortable speaking with was his cousin, Eisheth; as a skydancer she could read him.

Even then, it's just so awkward. He'd much rather curl up in a little nest of sap and read picture books. Those, Caryo can understand.
He likes to think he's gotten a little better around people since he was a hatchling. His crests don't flutter as awkwardly, and his tail doesn't twitch as hard. While Caryo still spends all his free time curled up with a book, he has gotten some practice in alchemy ever since his brothers came back from the crossroads with a cauldron and a book of instructions.

He's still got a long way to go before he makes anything worthwhile with his alchemy, but soon enough Caryo's sure he can improve the clan in big ways.
So the clan moved into a new lair. Whatever. He was more focused on his alchemy!

Caryo's made a lot of progress, and after experimenting with reducing many compounds and reinforcing glass shards, he's ready to begin making things out of all the materials he has. He feels the attempts are going well, even if Forestfalcon nearly killed him when he tried to pass off Soylent Red as a real drumstick.

Oh well. Practice makes perfect!
