Amethyst

Amethyst thrives in dark forests alone. He isn't a patient dragon, but he loves sharing his knowledge with others. He would make a great teacher if he was able to tolerate the questions of young dragons. It's hard to tell whether or not he likes someone since his facial expression rarely changes. To his close friends, like Silver, he appears expressive and sensitive. He loves collecting things that interest him, and sometimes disappears into his own little world to organize and polish his many collections. One of the few ways to speak with Amethyst is to ask him a question about one of his many interests or to ask him about one of his collections, otherwise the response will be short and gruff, and the conversation will shrivel up.
