Ambrosius

Ambrosius is convinced that his duty in life is to preach and spread the Glory of the Light to all whole listen, and quite a few who won't.

Since failing to receive the distinction of an illuminated emblem during the Brightshine Jubilee of 2014, Ambrosius has calmed down quite a bit. He spends his days listening to other's stories, doing odd jobs around the castle, and meditating in the solarium - in the hopes that, one day, he'll understand what it truly means to be a light dragon.

Ambrosius has changed a great deal since the first Brightshine Jubilee. Now days, he is the first dragon to help in a crisis, and is always calm, helpful, and polite. He rarely, if ever, preaches about the Lightweaver to those who are unwilling, and has been known to go to great lengths to help those less fortunate than himself. Most dragons find it hard to believe that such chivalry had to be learned, unlike his brother Plutarch, for whom it has always been second nature.

Both Ambrosius and his brother have been gifted with Illuminated Emblems this year, and Ambrosius himself nearly refused the offer, referencing several other dragons he deemed more worthy of the honor. On learning that Plutarch had refused the Emblem himself the previous Jubilee, Ambrosius was beyond touched, and not outraged as he may have been previously.

There's this new dragon in the Engineering department he's feeling all bubbly over.
