Biography

|Eirwen,

Diplomat | Foreign Affair Handler | Dragon Status: Questionable
"I wonder how many of my siblings are still around?"
|Past:

Eirwen departed from his birth clan only a few years from adulthood, not driven by any sort of determination and with no goal in mind, but simply sensing that there was no place for him amongst his many, many siblings. He meandered his way from friendly clan to friendly clan, comfortable enough by himself and so in tune with the Icefields that he rarely found himself in any trouble with the harsh temperatures and landscapes.

His time alone was short though, as within weeks of him taking refuge in the newly formed Clan Nexus he became aware of it's growing pains. Without asking for payment or waiting to be asked, he began offering advice and small suggestions to assist the Stone Order in securing trade and allies for itself, then grew to sitting in on relevant meetings, and rose to attending diplomatic events in other clans.

He was already in consideration to be officially recognized as the order's diplomat, but when he took the initiative to begin forming trade routs to the Clan of Spears, Ifrit presented Eirwen with the seal of the Stone Order, cementing his position in the Nexus.

|Personality:
With identical looking siblings mingled into every region and under the ranks of every flight's exalted, Eirwen will acknowledge that he has quite the reputation to uphold and the heavy expectation to be different than the rest of them placed on his shoulders. But his acknowledgement carries no true weight, he is unconcerned with the perception of his family and has yet to run into any relatives anyhow, though that would not be unwelcomed.

Even in the face of direct insults or tense situations his blank tone doesn't crack and he carries on with his unflinchingly robotic ways of speech. It isn't that he is unaware of potential dangers, but he's so task oriented that he doesn't consider any behaviors he observes in others or things said to him through a lens of being personal or aggressive under social normalities until he is alone or left without work. He can't find it in himself to feel strongly enough to be upset when he realizes either.

Due to his wide knowledge in vocabulary and body language he's extremely good at dealing with diplomats and outsiders with wares or services to offer. It's of no question amongst the Stone Order that his work is invaluable, but to Eirwen it's just his job. He finds it difficult to understand how astounding what he is capable of pulling off is and is obliviously humble about it.

Through his travels and work Eirwen has become a polyglot, even able to speak some Beastclan dialects.

He also has a decent knowledge of the traditions of each flight and a taste for their cultural foods.

|Relationships:
32373963p.png |Arthur| While his relationships with the other council members are awkward on their end and distant on Eirwen's, Arthur has made a point to speak to him as regularly as he does anyone else, to Eirwen's mild curiosity. Eirwen finds it impressive that Arthur can maintain conversations with him that aren't about the weather or their work. But more interestingly, Eirwen is the only one Arthur has actually spoken to about his shrouded past and the single memory he has that haunts him. Eirwen does try to give his own input and advice, as analytical as it is, and Arthur seems to appreciate the fact he doesn't pry or push him for information he either doesn't have or doesn't want to give.
