Lotte

~Pure second Gen Imperial~

Like her twin brother Caiman, Lotte follows in the path of Honeypot and her group of travelers. She enjoys it, as it gives her a chance to practice her bartering with neighboring traders and merchants. She will sometimes offer up some of Caiman's personal collections, but he doesn't mind this. She'll often trade fruits and vegetables for other forms of food, or occasionally she'll trade healing herbs for other materials.

She's also gotten a few things for free before! She's a master at her job, and travelmates going for supplies will often bring her with them to possibly get discounts. She's good at analyzing reactions, which tells her how someone might react or what to say next. If she messes up, she can quickly turn it around to give herself the advantage.

She learned she enjoyed negotiation when she was still young. During her childhood, she and Caiman would sneak out of their clan's home to go explore the land around them. During one such adventure, they came across a merchant who was selling various goods. She had her eye on one of them, but had little gold to buy it with. Determined to get it, she began to try and sweet talk him into giving it to her. Unfortunately, he saw right through this, but said that he'd never seen a hatchling try as hard as she has. He said that if she continued to try, she'd be a natural in no time, and he gave her the object of her affections as a little gift. This fueled her growing bartering nature.

She and Caiman are best friends, completely inseperable. There's nothing anyone can do to split them up. But despite this, they differ greatly. Caiman is energetic and social, but Lotte is quiet and reserved, and pushy. She tends to use her quiet nature as a means of unsettling traders into giving into whatever she's after. This usually works. When it fails, she turns to Caiman for guidance on what's popular in that area and then offers it to whoever she's talking to.

After growing into adulthood, Lotte and Caiman left their home and joined Honeypot. Traveling to new areas means new merchants and more practice on bartering. She enjoys this, as strangers often have unexpected reactions to what she says or does. To her, it's amusing, bothersome and a learning experience all in one. The thought of new vendors always sends her heart fluttering in her chest. The thrill of it is one of the many reasons she enjoys it.
