Nightingale is stoic and observant. She can sit still for hours, sometimes disappearing in plain sight because others overlook her presence. She is usually found guarding the clan's entrance.

Despite her natural solemnity, she enjoys pop culture and being around rowdy dragons. She often submerges herself in crowds of other dragons, a still figure in the bustle. She also occasionally jumps really high in the air for no reason other than jumping. Her jumping habit sometimes causes problems, like sending Lucifer crashing into anything nearby, though that is more because Lucifer is easy to startle.
