Luthar once believed he was the hero of his story. After he left his frozen home in the mountains of the Southern Icefield, he realized that had never been his destiny. Growing up in a frigid environment made him harsh and cold, more used to dealing with the criminals in the southern prisons than regular inhabitants of the world. He suffers in humid and hot temperatures, relying almost exclusively on magic to keep him comfortably surrounded by a chilled aura. He does not make or keep friends, but he takes care of his acquaintances.

He was drawn to the dragons of this lair because of their mentality. They do not demand anything of him, usually leave him alone to do as he pleases, and the majority of them are just as socially rigid and inept as he is, so they tend to keep their orbits close but separate.

Luthar's background in dealing with criminals on a regular basis lends him to be quite good in combat, capable of taking down intruders or dangers without harming anyone, yet not afraid to use lethal force when necessary. He is a sharp, quick member of the guard, a spearhead where the snappers are stalwart defenses.
