Biography
"Just you watch! I'll find every last lost dragon there is!"
Each time Raimi, Muneca's mother, laid a nest, she had always hoped at least one or two of her hatchlings would stay. She loved each and every one of them with everything she had. They were proof of her love for her mate, Wendigo. So when Muneca had decided he wished to become a full fledge member of CrestHaven, Raimi had been thrilled.
Muneca had wanted to do more than just scavenge for metal scraps or tinker away at his Uncle Rabble's side. He wanted to do something that would truly help the clan grow and become renowned throughout all of Sornieth. His sister had already decided to go serve under the Stormcatcher, she just hadn't decided when so until that day, she trained in the coliseum with the master trainers. Wanting to show that he too wanted to find his place, the obsidian mirror scurried over to Belnan, the clan's Seer and asked for his guidance.
After much thought and careful deliberation, the blind tundra told the eager mirror that if he so wished, he could work under him for the time being. Belnan explained that he often saw lost and confused dragons within the Shifting Expanse and though he has tried to herd them to CrestHaven, he had rarely been truly successful. It would be Muneca's job to venture out and care for these lost souls until he could safely guide them back home.
Belnan barely had the opportunity to finish before Muneca excitedly agreed to the position and rushed off to tell anyone that would listen. Nothing seemed more honorable than to save those who could not save themselves. Thus, the Dust Rescuers were formed with Muneca as the first.
He does his job with absolute pride and swiftness. Thanks to his second set of eyes, he could see the heat signature of the lost ones and find them even in the most difficult of situations. The Deepsea Bulb he wears had been a gift from his mother, as a way for the lost to know help had found them.
When Muneca had informed his father, Wendigo, of his appointment, the stoic imperial showed no hint of emotion toward his son. The mirror knew that this was just how his father acted, but still felt a little hurt that his father hadn't shown at a small amount of enthusiasm. So he had promised himself to perform a rescue so cunning, so daring, that even his father would have to congratulate him. After every save, Muneca has been known to show off and exaggerate his tale. But none seem to care too much as a good story had always been appreciated.
