Lives with Cessair. They have made a place for themselves among the filth of the desert trading post. For a reasonable price- rarely paid in treasure- Folio adds true wards to the intricate bamboo chimes that hang from nearly every door or stray tent pole. The hollow clattering of the chimes are comforting to him, helping him to sleep when he feels worn down. Cessair stays close to him, comforted enough by the safety his spines provide to sometimes light a candle himself, or even rarely to put the water on for the teapot.

His ability to sense the raising of the dead has done some small bit in the effort to keep the trading post safe. When things get too close, or too out of hand, Folio steps in to put the spirits to rest. His anxiety in this place is a constant he is learning to live with.

Microlore: When this dragon was born, his spines were imbued with elemental silver by his birth clan's sages. These spines, now imbued, provide for a natural weapon against the undead, striking the incorporeal and burning the unholy. This trait was viewed as an especially lucky one, considering the revelation that one of his mothers has been living under the effects of a curse for some time.

However, this dragon may not agree with that assessment.

He is extremely sensitive to restless spirits, knowing where they are by sound and sight, but also by scent and vibrations in his fur and feathers. If there is an unhallowed grave or a whiff of necromancy on the wind, he can not rest, for he feels the disquiet of the spirits in his bones, and he is compelled to do something for them.

This extra sense has given him a great deal of disquiet and anxiety, filling him with a need to do "something", though what that is exactly he isn't sure. He, like his mother Ink, is frequently exhausted. Whether this is a side-effect from her curse passed into their nest or simply an effect of being so sensitive, no one is quite certain. All he knows is that if he continues at the rate he is going, he will burn himself out long before he can help the dead of so many clans rest peacefully.
