Biography
Growing a garden has been a challenge in the shifting expanse, but with time and effort Cessair was able to pull together a small greenhouse. While his gardening skills are not superb, he manages to keep more and more alive each day, and any successful growth in the desert is worthy of some recognition. His garden is dedicated mostly to herbs, some of which he sells to the trading post doctor Regis. The rest of them are dried and mixed in different combinations, then sold to passing dragons as herbal remedies or bound in small sachets as protection spells.
He lives with Folio, at first because the coatl needed a resting place on a journey through. But they got along well, and Folio's short journey became a permanent stay.
Microlore: Descended from a line of spiritually sensitive dragons, he has always been able to see, hear, and speak with the dead. The runes that protect him from possession were especially weak, and he is very porous, like his grandmother. Spirits are everywhere to him, and he must be especially vigilant to stay safe, as not all of them are benevolent.
Unlike his grandmother, Adva, who was in danger from spirits of water, he seems most in danger from spirits of fire. They flock to him, despite being an Earth dragon. Some are quite horrifying in appearance, and he avoids open flames, cooking areas, and even the hearth in the common quarters of the clan as if it may cause him harm.
He hopes to become a gardener of some kind, for he can think of no way in which flames are necessary to that task. Besides, tilling soil is especially easy for a child of Dragonhome!
